Portrait of Tanzim Rahat, 3D product animation and CGI artist

About

Hi, I'm Tanzim.

I'm a 3D product animation artist. I turn products into photoreal CGI, renders and launch films that brands and agencies use to reveal, sell and stand out.

I stay on a project across the whole pipeline, from the first idea to the final graded shot: lookdev, lighting, simulation, animation and rendering. Cinema 4D and Redshift are my home base, Houdini handles the heavy lifting on real simulation and procedural setups, and Marvelous Designer covers fabric. Years of teamwear work gave me genuine depth in cloth, prints and materials, both offline and inside real-time three.js configurators.

When I'm not hunting for a fix somewhere inside a node network, you might find me losing a FIFA match I would have won in my prime (I swear), watching anime (One Piece fan, and Zoro is my absolute favourite), and forever planning to finally learn kenjutsu.

I'm currently available for remote work and shift my hours to overlap yours. Got a product worth making unforgettable, or just want to chat? Say hello.

Questions clients ask

Do you need the physical product, or can you work from photos?

Photos are enough. I rebuild the product as a clean 3D model from reference images, or a print dieline for packaging, so there's no shipping and no photo shoot. The Appleby Farms and Mission Farms packaging were both built this way.

What software do you use?

Cinema 4D for modeling and animation, Redshift for shading and rendering, Houdini for simulation and FX, plus Marvelous Designer, Substance Painter, After Effects and Photoshop where a job needs them.

Can you match my exact product, colors and materials?

Yes. I build material-accurate shaders and color-match to your references and brand specs, so the render reads as the real product, not a generic stand-in.

What do you deliver?

High-resolution stills and animation, in the angles and aspect ratios you need for store listings, ads and social. Stills as PNG or JPG, animation as MP4 or any common video format you need.

How long does a project take?

It depends on scope. A single hero render turns around far faster than a full animation, so I scope a realistic timeline once I see the product, the deliverables and your deadline.

How do you price a project?

By project rate or day rate, whichever fits the job, based on the deliverables, number of angles and complexity. Send the product, references and your goal and I'll quote.

Do you work in my timezone?

I'm based in Dhaka (GMT+6) and shift my hours to overlap yours, so reviews happen in real time and progress lands overnight. I usually reply within one business day, and I've already worked with clients across the US, Australia and Europe.

Is CGI better than photography for my product?

Often, yes, for consistency, unlimited angles and changes without a re-shoot. I broke down when to use each in my CGI vs photography guide.
