Appleby Farms Frozen Yoghurt
Photoreal shading, texturing and rendering for the three-flavour frozen yoghurt range, Vanilla, Strawberry Swirl and Passionfruit Ripple, lit and rendered in Blender.
How were the Appleby Farms frozen yoghurt renders made?
Appleby Farms needed appetising product visuals for its frozen yoghurt range across three flavours, Vanilla, Strawberry Swirl and Passionfruit Ripple. The goal was a single hero that presents the full line-up alongside clean per-flavour pack shots, ready for marketing and e-commerce use.
This was a shading, texturing and rendering project. Working in Blender, the focus was the look: a soft, creamy soft-serve swirl, the coloured ripple folding through each flavour, milk splashes frozen in motion, and fresh strawberries, passionfruit and vanilla styled around the packs. Studio lighting and photoreal materials carry the realism rather than heavy geometry.
The set shipped as one multi-flavour hero render plus an individual studio pack shot for each flavour. The clay viewport breakdowns below show the scene layout and modelling behind each shot.
One range, three flavours
Each flavour gets its own studio pack shot, matched lighting and styling across the set so the line-up reads as one family.

Nothing melts in 3D
Frozen dessert is the hardest thing to shoot and the easiest to render. No melt, no rush, just the swirl sitting exactly where you want it.
Build it once in 3D and the whole flavour range stays on-brand for as long as you need it. If your packaging deserves that, say hello!
