SPAR Swiss Epic Medal Reveal
A cinematic 3D reveal of the SPAR Swiss Epic 2024 recycled finisher medal, simulated in Houdini, assembled in Cinema 4D, rendered in Redshift and finished in After Effects. Cut as a vertical social film.
How was the SPAR Swiss Epic medal reveal made?
A cinematic CGI reveal of the recycled finisher medal for the SPAR Swiss Epic 2024, the mountain bike stage race held in the Swiss Alps. The brief was a short, high-impact vertical film for social, built to make the medal feel earned, premium and tied to the race's recycled-material story.
The motion was driven by a Houdini simulation, the elements coming together into the finished medal, then the shot was assembled in Cinema 4D with the camera, staging and props. Lighting and the photoreal metal, paint and surface detail were rendered in Redshift, with grading, glow and finishing handled in After Effects.
It shipped as a vertical reveal for the race launch, with a set of hero stills pulled from the build for supporting use.

When the material is the message
A medal made from recycled batteries is a story before it's an object. The reveal lets the material become the message, particles resolving into something earned.
Sustainability reads best when you can watch it happen. If you have a story like that to tell, say hello!
