Quantum premium football match ball CGI commercial, cinematic 3D reveal rendered in Cinema 4D and Redshift by Tanzim Rahat

How was the Quantum match ball commercial made?

The Quantum is a new premium football from Hutter Products, built around a lightweight, high-quality material with more flex than a standard ball. Hutter wanted that told in a premium, cinematic way, yet kept minimal, so the ball itself stays the hero, sold on craft: the panel layout, the stitching and the textured surface rather than logos.

I handled shading, scene design, lighting, animation and rendering in Cinema 4D and Redshift, with After Effects for the final comp. The motion was driven with MoGraph and deformers, resolving into a clean assembly of the ball that settles into a hero pose, lit like a studio product film with a photoreal mix of matte grip coating, glossy accents and fine seam detail.

It shipped as a CGI launch film with supporting stills for sports and e-commerce use, the cinematic assembly reveal and a clean premium pack shot. The campaign ran successfully and was well received by both the client and its audience on social.

Finding the hero moment

A ball is geometry anyone can model. Making it feel premium is lighting, restraint and a reveal that earns the final shot.

Most products have a hero moment hiding in them somewhere. If yours hasn't been found yet, say hello!
