Gymsack 360 Spin Animation
A cinematic 360-degree CGI product animation of the Hutter Products 13L gymsack, set in a gym scene as a ready-to-publish e-commerce launch asset. Modelled, simulated, lit and rendered in Cinema 4D and Redshift.
Overview
Hutter Products had a new 13L gymsack ready for market and a launch window to hit. For a startup entering a competitive fitness accessories space, the e-commerce listing either earns the click or the shopper moves on, so the animation had to communicate quality, function and craftsmanship at once.
A 360-degree spin in a gym environment was the agreed format, giving shoppers a complete view of the product from every angle while grounding it in the context of its actual use. I took it from an empty scene to a finished, delivery-ready asset across the full pipeline: hard-surface modelling for the frame, straps, drawcord hardware and closures, fabric realism in Marvelous Designer and Substance Painter, then cinematic lighting and rendering in Cinema 4D with Redshift.
Final compositing was completed in After Effects, producing a clean, ready-to-publish video timed to the launch. The client returned for further work, the strongest signal that the animation performed where it counted.
