Quantum Match Ball CGI Commercial
A cinematic CGI reveal for the Quantum premium football match ball, modelled, shaded, animated and rendered in Cinema 4D and Redshift. The panels, stitching and surface texture come together in one hero shot.
How was the Quantum match ball commercial made?
A CGI commercial for the Quantum premium football match ball, produced for Hutter Products, built as a short cinematic reveal. The aim was a high-end sports spot that sells the ball on craft, the panel layout, the stitching and the textured surface, rather than on logos.
The ball was modelled from the panel up, then shaded and lit in Redshift for a photoreal mix of matte grip coating, glossy accents and fine seam detail. The animation assembles the ball on screen and settles into a clean hero pose, lit like a studio product film.
It shipped as a CGI launch film with supporting stills for sports and e-commerce use, the cinematic assembly reveal and a clean premium pack shot.
Hero frames from the film
Two stills pulled from the commercial, the cinematic assembly reveal and the final premium product shot.
Finding the hero moment
A ball is geometry anyone can model. Making it feel premium is lighting, restraint and a reveal that earns the final shot.
Most products have a hero moment hiding in them somewhere. If yours hasn't been found yet, say hello!
